FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Bambi Christie Artison, LLC (775) 833-4344 Phone (775) 833-0223 Fax bambi@artisonusa.com Artison Introduces Sketch Tower at CEDIA 2004 Second DualMono Center Channel Floor Standing Solution Incline Village, NV, September 7, 2004 Extending their product mix, Artison is
introducing Sketch Tower, a floor standing speaker system designed to be used with the
new Flat Screen style televisions.

The Sketch Tower speaker system provides true, clear audio reproduction and eliminates
the need for a separate center channel speaker box. Sketch Tower includes three front channel speakers (Left/Center/Right) which are integrated into two columns, positioned on
each side of the television screen. Each of the speakers is configured with a patents-
pending DualMono Center Channel, in which the upper portion of both right and left
towers house two matched dedicated speakers to reproduce the center channel effectively
placing crisp, clear dialogue in the center of the screen, rather than above or below as with
a typical center channel speaker.

The Sketch Tower system is ideal for the new generation of DLP, CRT, and other flat
screen televisions, which are being designed without the traditional boxy cabinet to make
them look more like plasma screens. With the newer slim televisions there is no place to
put the center channel other than on the floor, which is neither esthetically pleasing nor
accurate for dialogue. The handsome Sketch Tower speakers allow the consumer to enjoy
their favorite movie or CD without compromising the interior look and styling of their
home.

Sketch Towers utilize 25mm tweeters that help produce a more accurate and dynamic
home theater experience in a larger listening area than most speaker systems. Artison uses
a Stage Tweeter for each left and right front channel which works with the front firing
tweeters to substantially widen the sound stage. There are two 4-1/2-inch polypropylene
long throw midrange drivers per side that use a fixed phase plug for flat polar response to
beyond 2 KHz, with very low distortion, enabling true reproduction of any soundtrack. The
speakers measure 45H x 6W x 3-5/8D. Manufacturers Suggested Retail is $1,200.00 /
Pair.

For a complete surround sound system combine Sketch Towers with Artisons LRS
surround speakers, which are available in black or paintable white ABS. The rear LRS
speakers measure 9H x 9-1/2W x 3D, and come with wall brackets for easy installation.
Manufacturers Suggested Retail is $500.00 / Pair. Completing the home theater solution are subwoofers offered through a partnership with
Velodyne, the worlds leading manufacturer of powered subwoofers for home theater and
consumer audio. Velodynes Digital Drive Series or SPL Series II subwoofers provide
optimal crossover frequency and slope settings to provide a seamless interface between the
Artison Sketch LCR and rear speakers and the subwoofer, for full tonal reproduction and a
superior home theater experience.

The Digital Drive Series is the industrys first all-digital, high gain servo-controlled
subwoofer and the first series to incorporate Velodynes patent-pending Digital Drive
room equalization system, which allows the subwoofers frequency response to be
measured using a calibrated microphone and viewed graphically on any standard TV. The
Digital Drive Series and the SPL Series II are both powered by a patented Energy
Recovery System (ERS) switching amplifier, and feature 1000 watt RMS/2000 watts
dynamic power for the SPL and 1250 watt RMS/3000 watts dynamic power for the Digital
Drive Series. The Velodyne subwoofers have suggested retails starting from $399.
Artisons Sketch Tower speaker system will ship the beginning of September. The
complete Artison product line can be viewed at CEDIA 2004 during show hours in the
Westin Hotel, in the Congress Room, Lobby Level.
