Crossroads If you are new to Crossroads, you should arrive no later that 8:30 am MON FRI for an orientation meeting. Lunch is served at 11:15
am and you will then have the opportunity to discuss drug and alcohol recovery programs, located at 420 Courtland St. one block from

Safe House You can get information and referrals to drug and alcohol detox and recovery programs in Atlanta and elsewhere. Safe House operates
New Canaan Ranch, a drug and alcohol recovery program in Tennessee for 50-60 men, located at 89 Ellis St. about 2 blocks from
Peachtree St. (downtown). Their hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MON - FRI. You can call for an appointment 404/523-5758.
Central Presbyterian Outreach Center Offers information and referrals to drug and alcohol recovery programs MON FRI 9:00 am to noon. May telephone or walk-in to
schedule an appointment. Located at 210 Washington St. (inside Central Presbyterian Church, across from the State Capitol), 404/659-
7119. Project Connect New client orientation MON & WED at 1:00 pm or call for an appointment or for information 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MON -FRI. They offer
substance abuse counseling, addiction support groups, case management and many other services, located at 100 Edgewood Ave. Ste

Mercy Mobile Health Mercy Mobile Health Van visits several locations near the downtown area each week. You can talk to them about treatment and
recovery programs and when funds are available and you qualify, they can even pay for you to get into some of the better programs.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY PROGRAMS FOR MEN AND/OR WOMEN A HIGHER CALLING - chemically dependent adult males; the minimum length of stay is 6 months, the maximum is 12 months. POTTER'S HOUSE - For men only . This is an Atlanta Union Mission Christian program. Provides a one year intensive residential substance abuse program consisting of a minimum of seven months residency followed by mandatory after care participation that may require up to an additional five months
of residency, males 25 to 55 years of age; located at 655 Potter's House Road, Jefferson, Ga. 30549 , 1-800-524-9662 . Open 24 hours daily; Intake hours: 10:30 am to 4:30 pm MON FRI. Fee: sliding scale (must be able to work if unable to pay)
ST. JUDE'S RECOVERY CENTER - For single male and female
. This is a gender specific residential substance abuse treatment program for single men and women, where they must complete a minimum of five weeks of intensive day treatment. Upon completion they are required to obtain and maintain
employment and attend treatment activities including 12-step meetings; 24 hours daily, located at 139 Renaissance Parkway, Atlanta 30308, (Between
Courtland St. and Piedmont Ave.) Fee: sliding scale; area served: Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale. Call for an appointment. (404) 874-2224. SALVATION ARMY RED SHIELD-HARBOR LIGHT PROGRAM - males be at least 18 years of age, 3-7 days of sobriety, commitment to 90-
day treatment
. This is a 90-day intensive program where clients attend relapse prevention classes, therapy, and follow the 12-step program. Clients are not allowed to work during the first two months of residence. Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MON FRI; Fee: straight fee; call for an appointment. (404) 688-2884
SALVATION ARMY REHABILITATION CENTER - For men only , 21 to 60 years of age with a history of substance abuse, must be physically/mentally able to work 40 hours/week, PROCEDURE: telephone, walk-in, appointment, referral; must not have a dual diagnosis; located at 740 Marietta St., Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (next to the Salvation Army Thrift Store). . You must be a resident of Cobb County. This agency offers a residential substance abuse recovery program and a broad array of outpatient counseling services; residential recovery program: prefer professional, court referrals, self-referral considered; located at 1507 Church St., Marietta, Ga. 30061, (770) 590-9075. Drug and Alcohol Resources/Updated 01-26-06 4 RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY PROGRAMS (contd) TRANSITION HOUSE - For men and women with children . homeless; single men, single women, women with children; veterans; must be in recovery from substance abuse and or be clean for 30 days; must find employment in first few weeks issues. This organization provides long-term residential,
aftercare recovery program where homeless persons learn the life skills and acquire the support needed to become sober, independent and productive
members of our community. The homes are located throughout Metro Atlanta and men, women and women with children are eligible to enter the program if
they are verifiably homeless by HUD guidelines and have abstained from alcohol and/or drugs for at least 30 days. Open 24 hours daily; straight fee; based

TRINITY HOUSE For homeless and adult substance-abusing males who have completed detox or an inpatient treatment program . This agency offers a transitional program for homeless males in recovery from substance abuse. There is in-house twelve step program, NA and AA that
residents must participate in to remain in program, tough program with Africentric modality. There is a six month minimum and one year maximum length of
stay in transitional program. Need a referral from any short-term detox program, negative TB test result; fee: straight fee. Open 24 hours daily, (404)222- 0553.
LUKES PLACE Males only. This agency offers a residential substance abuse program for men with a minimum stay of 45 days and a maximum of one
year. They also offer Alcohol and Narcotic Anonymous meetings as well as relapse prevention. Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm MON SUN; call for an
appointment.

NEW START SUBSTANCE ABUSE CENTER -- Adults 18 years of age and above who are substance abusers. This agency provides substance abuse
counseling and treatment as well as support groups for drug dependency. Open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm MON FRI, call for an appointment. Fee: sliding scale;

PEOPLE ACCEPTING CHALLENGES EVERYDAY -- Males and females 18 years of age and above with substance abuse issues. This is a licensed
recovery residency program; clients are provided housing, anger management, group counseling, job skills and placement, and detox if needed. Minimum
stay is six months and there is a weekly straight fee. FEE: straight; open 24 hours daily; (678)222-3433.

PROGRESSIVE REDEVELOPMENT, INC. -- Homeless males 18 years and above with substance abuse issues. Hope House Transitional Program is a
70 bed residential substance abuse treatment facility for homeless males. The program has two phases - phase one is focused on substance abuse
treatment; phase two is home to men who are committed to long-term recovery and permanent housing, located at 275 Washington St., SW Atlanta, GA

QUEST 35 INC., -- Males and females 18 years of age and above with substance abuse issues. Minimum stay is 30 days and in addition to housing and
substance abuse treatment, food, clothing, and other support services are provided to residents. Hours; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MON FRI, intake hours 24
hours daily; need a referral from a detox program; (404)521-0929.
TANGU PHASE II -- Males and females 18 to 75 years of age with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. This organization provides a plethora
of substance abuse treatment services for drug/alcohol; apartment-style recovery residences complete with washer and dryer and full furnishing are available
for males and females with substance abuse and/or mental health issues, located at 157 Forsyth St. Atlanta, GA 30303. Open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm MON -

TOOLSHED MINISTRIES -- Males 18 years of age and above recently released from prison or with substance abuse issues. This program offers a
recovery residence for people who were recently released from prison or those who have substance abuse issues. Housing, substance abuse treatment and
counseling, and life skills education is provided to residents to insure successful reentry into society. Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MON - FRI; 8:00 am to 1:00

VICTORY OUTREACH ATLANTA -- men and women 18 years of age and above, (no children); unable to accept clients with mental illness or other
health problems; must attend ALL church services and activities, located at 2165 Metropolitan Pkwy. Atlanta, GA 30315; open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MON

STEPPING STONE REHABILITATION CENTERadult males, telephone, appointment, referral from treatment center or individuals; fee: straight; (404)766-7282
ROCKDALE HOUSE FOR MENmale 18 to 70 years of age; The Rockdale Houses offer a highly disciplined and structured community environment for
their residents, who attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings daily and study the steps and traditions of AA. Residents share housekeeping responsibilities
and yard work. Each house has a greenhouse which is part of the vocational therapy program. Residents are provided living quarters, substance and alcohol abuse education, individual and group counseling, and other skills necessary to re-enter

GREATER GRACE GOSPEL CHURCH OF THE APOSTOLIC FAITH - males 18 years of age and above with substance abuse issues, who are living
with drug and alcohol dependency. The home can house 20+ men and features mental, physical, and spiritual help, random drug testing, a full kitchen,

GRN COMMUNITY SERVICE BOARD - residents of service area on Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale; This agency provides mental health, mental

ATLANTA UNION MISSION - MY SISTER'S HOUSE - males at least 18 years of age, must complete 30 days of treatment at the Shepherd's Inn. This
agency offers a 4 to 6 month residential addiction recovery program for men. The program has a dual focus on spirituality and the 12-step approach to
recovery. They offer educational classes, step work, individual and group counseling, chapel, meetings, and work therapy; located at 2355 Bolton Rd., NW

PEACHFORD MINISTRIES - individuals with drug and/or alcohol addiction. This agency offers residential recovery programs for men and women
complete with housing, food, clothing, and employment opportunities. It is a six month program, but clients may stay as long as they need to. Clients must
work to be able to pay their own way; however, credit will be extended to those without funds upon arrival. Clients are required to attend daily on site and
