19 th April 2006 M&S CAR INSURANCE TAKES THE LEAD AS BEST BUY IN LATEST WHICH? REPORT M&S Car Insurance has come out as best of the best buys in the April issue of Which? The Which? car insurance report* analysed 6,450 premiums from 41 insurance companies in
the UK. Comparisons were made on price and cover, including the provision of a courtesy
car. M&S Car Insurance topped the report based on its ability to offer good value for most
drivers. M&S Car Insurance was developed through in-depth analysis of consumers and their
expectations of a car insurance policy, which revealed that drivers main concern was being
unable to get around if their car was off the road. The M&S policy includes a courtesy car as
standard a benefit that Which? cited as a benchmark requirement before any additional
extras were taken into account. David Mackay, Commercial Director of M&S Money, said; We are delighted by the
recognition that M&S Car Insurance has achieved in the Which? report. We guarantee to
keep our customers on the road if their own vehicle is unavailable while being repaired after
an accident, stolen or even written off. This is something that many other policies do not
