GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
A discounted Mears Transportation coupon has been attached for your use to
travel from the Orlando International Airport to the hotel.

TRAVEL EXPENSES:
You will be reimbursed for the cost of round-trip, coach-class airfare between the
airport nearest your home or headquarters (whichever is less) and the Orlando
International Airport (original ticket receipt required). If there is a state contract
from your home or headquarters, you must use the state contract airline. If a
lower fare is available on another airline, you must ask the state contract airline
if they will match the fare. If the contract airline will not match the lower fare,
you may use the non-contract airline. If you plan to fly from a city that is not on
state contract, please purchase discounted airline tickets if you are certain
your travel plans will not change. These tickets are available with a 7 or 14 day
advance purchase, but they are non-refundable in event of cancellation and
carry a $50-$100 penalty for each schedule change. (Most non-refundable
tickets can be used toward another trip within one year of purchase.)
If you drive, we will reimburse mileage at $.445 per mile. You must use the official map mileage between your home or headquarters (whichever is closer)
and Orlando. Reasonable mileage over the official map mileage can be claimed
as vicinity mileage. If you rent a car, you must use the state contract rental car
agency, AVIS Rent-A Car Systems, Inc. Our office will reimburse the cost of the
compact car rate only. Any upgrades will be the responsibility of the traveler and
will be deducted from your reimbursement. Please note the AVIS contract was
revised so that you must return the car with a full tank of gas.

TRAVEL POLICY:
A traveler may not claim per diem or reimbursement for lodging for
overnight travel within 50 map miles of his headquarters or residence
(this applies to official map miles only, not map + vicinity miles). If
circumstances necessitate such overnight travel, the traveler must contact our
office prior to travel dates for advance approval. Please refer to the Official
Map Mileage to Orlando also attached. If your city is not listed, you can
find the official map mileage between your headquarters or home and Orlando
at:
http://www3.dot.state.fl.us/mileage . According to the official map mileage chart, cities 50 miles or less from Orlando are: * Cocoa * Deland * Kissimmee * Leesburg * Sanford * Tavares * Titusville * Winter Haven
MEALS:
You will be reimbursed for meals at the state rate of $6.00 for breakfast (if travel
begins before 6:00 a.m.); $11.00 for lunch (if travel begins before 12 Noon); and
$19.00 for dinner (if travel begins before 6:00 p.m. and extends beyond 8:00
p.m.), consistent with your travel times. Meal receipts are not required.
