Mr. Art Wheaton, President, Parker Gun Collectors Association
5848 Deer Meadow Lane
Summerfield, NC 27358

Dear Art,

President Wheaton, with the fear of sounding like the movie Ground Hog Day all over again, the LCSCA wishes
to extend our collective congratulations to you, Chairman Davis, the Board of Directors and the Membership of the
Parker Gun Collectors Association,on again, a stupendous victory in the 2008 LC Smith vs. Parker Challenge Cup
Event. LC Team shooters were better than last year but the Parker Team crushed one clay target after another like
process controlled machines. Team Parker was unstoppable. The top twenty shooters from both teams gave their
best efforts in the Challenge Cup but the Parker Team was magnificent.

Again borrowing from a movie theme, The sun will shine tomorrow, and thank goodness it did shine for Team LC
in a hard fought win against a very competitive Team Parker in the Hammer Gun Challenge Event the next morning.
Although, it was over heard on the shooting grounds that Team Parker may have been a bit off target from too much
celebration the previous night!

I have heard only high praise from shooters and spectators alike regarding this prestigious event. It is only with the
cooperation of fine gentlemen such as yourself and John and all respective members of both organizations that the
2008 LC Smith vs. Parker Challenge continues to be such a tremendous success. I sincerely hope the Challenge,
continues to accomplish our intended goals of focusing attention on the collect ability and use of our fine American
made double guns, spurning a spirit of goodwill and fellowship in a friendly competitive atmosphere among our
collective clubs and providing a framework to contribute to a charitable cause that promotes the continued future of
our fine sport. With the goal of making the event even better and more interesting next year, we may wish to expand
the format to include not only an event for the best shooters but an event that will allow team participation from the
ranks of lesser scoring shooters.

On behalf of the LCSCA, I extend my sincere congratulations to Team Parker and the PGCA. The LCSCA is
already looking forward to 2009 when we will once again experience this wonderful spirit of gentlemanly
camaraderie.
.

Warmest Regards,

Frank Finch, Jr.
Executive Director, LC Smith Collectors Association
