comprised of ve different one act plays: Captive Au-
dience, The Authors Voice, Slop Culture, Some
Live, Some Die, and Sure Thing Captive Audience was a kind of introduction to the event of the night. It was a hilarious play about TV shows and the
way the affect our lives. In this play, there was a channel which
actually seemed to be living with a couple: Laura(Shan Colletti)
and Rob(Galen Hammersburg).
The TV show seemed to know everything they did and the things they will want to do in the future. The TV presenters
(Vinayak Mookherjee and Erin Mersch) somehow caught Robs
wife in some private scenes she never knew anybody saw her. At
a time she was so disgusted with the TV show that she had to shut
it off.
The second play, The Authors Voice, was about a writer, Todd (Trevor Waller). He had this lthy but supposedly
wonderful writer named Gene (Eli Stine) whom he picked up
from the streets. Gene was locked up in a room because he was
not considered presentable.
Besides the editor must not know about him, since Todd paid him to do the writings while he took the glory. Gene
wrote a lot of wonderful articles that made his employer Todd
achieve his aim of being famous. Unknown to Todd, Gene was
copying another persons book and typing them for him.
This ended his career when he realized he was to be convicted of plagiarism. There were also scenes of Todd and the
editor, Portia (Emily Sutherlin). She had this wanton desire to
have Todd go to bed with her but Todd was so na
