Please plan to arrive at Penland before the 5:00 pm orientation meeting on Sunday and stay until studio
cleanup and the show-and-tell (11:00) on the last day of class listed in the catalog (and on our web site).
You may stay overnight, but you must be out of your housing by 9:00 AM the morning after your session
ends. It is approximately a 1-1/2-hour trip from the Asheville Airport to Penland School. If you
require shuttle service from Asheville, please be sure your flight arrives in Asheville by 2 PM! Airlines that fly to Asheville

If you need a shuttle from the Asheville Regional Airport to Penland School of Crafts, please go to http://blueridgelimo.com and arrange your shuttle with them. Shuttle reservations should be made at least two weeks before the start date of your class. When scheduling flights, please arrange your arriving flight to land before 2 PM. Schedule your departing
flight to leave after noon on the day of departure. *Enterprise Rent-A-Car
Our students receive a discounted rate of 10% off the retail price of airport rental cars and 5% off at
any non-airport location. The nearby town of Burnsville has an Enterprise location where the rental cars
may be dropped off (828-682-5087). For Enterprise rental car drop-offs: they will drive students to
Penland School. To reserve a car, call 1-800-RENT-A-CAR or visit www.enterprise.com . If making an online reservation click on corporate rates, type in our account number, 53SA009, and use the first three
letters of Penland School of Crafts to receive the discounted rates. If reserving by phone, make sure to
