Leadership Assessment and Development I
Fall Section of MGT 206, 2004
The Leadership Assessment and Development class of Fall 2004 at Northern Kentucky University, and the participating Community Shares groups, are proud to
present Helping Hands, A Guide to Community Service in Cincinnati. Our purpose in the creation of this guide is to provide a listing of Community Shares groups, along with pertinent information about the groups. With this guide book,
potential individual or group volunteers will learn where they can go to help out, who it is
that they are helping, when their help is needed, what each charitable organization is
involved in, and why it is important that they are volunteering.
We hope that by being able to learn more about groups in need, we can add fuel to the volunteering fire of people that we reach. We would like to thank everyone who
took time out of their busy schedules to help us in our information gathering. Finally, we
would like to thank anyone who checks out our guide and decides to volunteer at one of
the groups featured in the guide.
Thank you.
